Lucille Ruth Miller, Uniontown, Pa.

     Lucille Ruth Miller, 97 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

     She was born on Christmas Day 1927 to the parents of the late Ezekiel and Rose Phillips Cole.

     Lucille is predeceased by her siblings, Arthur, Betty, Martha and Ronald; as well as her husband of 56 years, Charles “Chick” Miller and children, Charles, Sandy and Terry Miller.

     Surviving are her sister, Charlotte Walton; 4 of her 7 children, Don and Helen Miller, Judy Powell, Debbie and Bill Parks, and Mark and Jen Miller; twenty-one grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.

     Lucille was a homemaker by trade, while raising 7 children, she very much enjoyed shopping, eating out, TV watching, the company of others and in most recent years, beach vacationing with her family.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating.

     Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery, Georges Township, Pa.
