Lucinda “Cindy” Roderick Frank, Smithfield, Pa.

     Lucinda “Cindy” Roderick Frank, 80 of Smithfield, Pa. died at her home with her loving family by her side on Friday, July 19, 2024.

     She was born December 29, 1943 in Smithfield to the late Rex and Arlene Roderick.

     Cindy graduated in 1961 from Fairchance-Georges High School.

     Surviving are her husband, Andrew Frank; her sister who loved her dearly, Sandra and husband Dan Vecchiolla; a niece and nephews who she loved, Danny Vecchiolla and wife Vicki, Kim Humbertson and husband John, and Scott Vecchiolla and wife Debbie; seven great nephews and great nieces; Jace, Jamie, Jordan, Shelby, Jared, Alison and Evan; one great great nephew, Walker; step-children, Andrew and Lynn Frank, John and Jackie Frank, and Robert and Marcy Frank; seven step grandchildren, Katie (Mike), Nick (Annabelle), Amanda, Josh, Allison, Adam and Margaret; many cousins and friends and Aunt Elsie from Ohio.

     Cindy was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church.

     She loved her Poodle "Buffy", traveling, gardening and polka dancing.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, July 24, 2024 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. Her Funeral Mass follows at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa.

     Interment follows in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

     The family would like to extend a thank you to Amedisys Hospice Uniontown aids and a special thanks for caregiver Lois and her hairdresser Donna.
