Madonna Bartko, 94 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.
She was born December 21, 1930 in Haydentown, Pa.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Carson and Stella Clark Tate; husband, Joseph E. Bartko; daughters, Patricia Elaine Bartko and Susan Marie Kennison; grandsons, Wayne and Jeremy Kennison; son-in-law, Garland Arbogast and brothers and sisters.
Surviving are her children, Anna Arbogast, Joseph (Marti) Bartko, Daniel (Nancy) Bartko, Michael (Brenda) Bartko and Karen (Robert) Chapman; grandchildren, Tracy and Rudy, Tina, Melody, Katie and Bill, Suzy and Danny, Matt, Daniel Jr., Beth Ann and Danny, Samantha and Mikey Jr., Aaron and Tiffany; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren and two sisters, Betty Felton and Dorothy Leadbeater.
Madonna was a faithful member of the Haydentown Christian Church.
The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 31, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jim Handschmaker officiating. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
