Malen L. Stump Sr., Brownsville, Pa.

     Malen L. Stump Sr. 74 of Brownsville, Pa., passed away on Friday, April 4, 2025 with his loving family by his side at WVU Uniontown Hospital.

     He was born October 30, 1950 in Waynesburg, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Leroy and Monnie Stanley Morris; siblings, Grace Myers, Joseph Ross, William Stump Sr., Linda Sparks and Mike Stump; son, Charles Stump Sr. and grandson, Charles "Chuckie" Stump Jr.

     Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Anna; children, Malen Stump Jr. and wife Deanna, and Shawn Stump; grandchildren, Joseph Stump, Steven Stump, Erin Stump and Barry Ruse; siblings, Hank and Sherrie Stump, Kay and Ron Coddington, Daniel and Kathy Morris, and Dean and Pat Morris; sister-in-law, Darla Stump; brother-in-law, Allen Sparks and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

     Malen was a faithful member of First Christian Church of Republic, serving as an Elder of the Church, Chairman of the Board of Fellowship and the Tri County Christian Men's Fellowship and was involved in numerous church activities.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, April 10, 2025 in the First Christian Church of Republic, 183 Republic Road, Republic, Pa. 15475 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Scott Cooper officiating. Interment will follow in Acklin Cemetery, Tower Hill, Pa.
