Margaret L. Miller Dankle, Smithfield, Pa.
Margaret L. Miller Dankle went home to be with Jesus on November 10, 2024. She was surrounded by her loving family.
She was born May 23, 1930 in Haydentown, Pa. a daughter of Russell Miller and Pearl Swaney Miller. She was the wife of the late Andrew C. Dankle.
Margaret was a homemaker throughout her life. She loved to play country music with her friends and husband. She also loved baking, gardening, gambling and her little dogs.
She was predeceased by her parents; husband; sisters, Anna, Elva, Dora Jane, Ruby and Flo; brother, Stanley Miller; as well as two special nephews, Russel and Wayne Fritzman. Margaret was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Margaret is survived by her loving niece, Loretta Fritzman, whom she thought of as her own daughter. Margaret was a special Aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks are extended to Terry and Karen and the staff of Fairfield’s Liberty Hall Personal Care Home for their excellent care. Thank you also to Darla and the hospice staff for their help and care. And gratitude is expressed to Dean Whitmarsh Funeral Home for his service.
Per Margaret’s wishes, there will be no public viewing. A private interment was in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, next to her husband Andrew.
