Mary Ann (Pepe) Franczyk, Fairchance, Pa.

     Mary Ann (Pepe) Franczyk, 81 of Fairchance, Pa. has been called home to serve and rejoice with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, December 2, 2023.

     She was born November 2, 1942 in Uniontown, Pa.

     She was predeceased by her parents, Christopher and Beatrice Retilla Pepe; nephew, Richard Pepe and brother-in-law, Jack Andrews.

     Surviving are her children, Peter Franczyk and wife Bobbi Sue, Leslie Franczyk and Jamie Franczyk Trifiro and husband Nudy; grandchildren, Ashley Franczyk, Joshua Franczyk, Christian Franczyk, Scott Gardner and Nick Gardner; sister, Christine Andrews; brother, Harry Pepe and wife Evelyn; niece and nephews and their families, Shelley Bortz-Ligashesky and husband Bob; George Bortz IV and wife Kelly, Christopher Pepe and Harry Pepe Jr. and wife Shannon; uncle, James Pepe and her loving cats, Cookie and Sadie.

     Mary Ann was a graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School Class of 1960 where she was Head Majorette.

     She was employed with the Uniontown Hospital for over 30 years in Quality Management until her retirement.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 7, 2023 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. Her Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa. Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
