Mary A. (Sapic) Hicks

Mary A. Hicks, Big Bear Lake, WV.

     Mary A. Hicks, 79 of Big Bear Lake, Preston County, W. Va., formerly of Georges Township, Pa. passed away on Friday evening, October 27, 2023.

     She was born February 29, 1944 at Messmore, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Lillian Knox Sapic and four brothers, Donald Sapic, John Sapic, Pat Sapic and Kenny Sapic. She was the last surviving member of her parents’ immediate family.

     Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Larry A. Hicks; five children, Ronald Hicks, Edgar and Terri Hicks, John and Misty Hicks, Rhonda Farkas and Robert Hicks; grandchildren, John James Hicks Jr., Jenna Hicks, Kaylee Hixon, Krista Hixon, and Hunter and Robin Hicks and great grandchildren, Summer Hicks and Lilly Hicks.

     Mary enjoyed spending time at her camp at Big Bear Lake with her family that she loved so much at which she made her residence.
