Mary Ann Jensen, Smithfield, Pa.

     Mary Ann Jensen, 78 of Nicholson Township, Smithfield, Pa. passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

     She was born December 13, 1945 in Masontown, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Clarence and Virginia McKlveen Helmick and a brother, Clarence Duane Helmick.

     Surviving are her three sons, Tod Hanley Jensen and his wife Gwen, Kristian Severin Jensen and his wife Tracy and Chad Erik Jensen; grandchildren, Megan Dankle and husband Adam, Jeny Ann Brenneman, Chelsea Jensen, Jonathan Liston Jensen, Hannah Jensen, Chad Jensen II and Emily Jensen; one great grandson, Tanner Brenneman; sister, Cyndee Burack and husband Charles; sister-in-law, Debbie Helmick; several nieces and nephews; other loving family and friends and her loving dogs, Bootsie and Bella.

     Mary Ann was a faithful member of Oak Hill Baptist Church, serving as Choir Director and other offices in the church over the years.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Oak Hill Baptist Church, 100 Old Frame Road, Smithfield, Pa. on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 6, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Charles Bowser officiating.

     Private interment will be in Old Frame Cemetery at a later date.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Oak Hill Baptist Church.

     Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
