Michael Allan Burnworth Sr., Smithfield, Pa.

     Michael Allan Burnworth Sr., 56 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, August 11, 2025.

     He was born December 28, 1968 in Canton, Ohio.

     Preceding him in death were his father, Ronald Lee Burnsworth; step father, Walter J. Burnworth; mother, Betty J. Core Sisler; sister, Denise Kay Belanger and brothers, Bud Burnworth, Jerry Burnworth and Ronald Lee Burnsworth Jr.

     Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Brenda J. Huntley Burnworth; son, Michael Burnworth Jr.; daughter, Julia Bishoff and husband David; grandchildren, Jocelyn, Landon, Logan, Laydon and Nevaeh; sisters and brother, Lori, Teddy, Anna Mae, Ada and Michelle.

     Michael was previously employed at Frey Lumber Company.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday, August 17, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Time of Remembrance will begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor David Harden officiating.
