Nancy “Sis” Moody Whoolery, Fairchance, Pa.

      Nancy “Sis” Moody Whoolery, 88 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2026.

     She was born November 30, 1937 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Milford and Rose Moody; two brothers, Everett Moody and Milford “Popeye” Moody and son, Ronald Victor Jr.

     Surviving are her loving family, her daughter, Rhonda Barnhart and husband Eddie; granddaughters, Misty and John Middlebrooks and Shannon and Michael Bacha; great grandchildren, Sean, Jack, Tara and Cole; and other loving family and friends.

      She was a former president of the Smithfield Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.

     To honor Nancy's request,  family and friends are invited to a Committal service to be held at Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery Chapel, on Monday, March 30th, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. and all are invited to attend a memorial luncheon immediately following at the Smithfield Community Center, 14 Water Street, Smithfield.

      The family extends a special thank you to Michelle and Rhonda at Horizon Personal Care Home and the team of Amedisys Hospice Uniontown for all of the loving care given to Nancy.
