Patricia M. Burgess Black, Smithfield, Pa.

     Patricia M. Burgess Black of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on March 21, 2025 with her loving family by  her side.

     She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Anna Burgess and her siblings.

     Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Gene; two sons, Gene Jr. and wife Dawn, and Brian and wife Rachel; several grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and very close friend who was like a daughter, Christy and her husband Jonathan.

     Visitation will be in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 until 9:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said. Her Funeral Mass follows at 10:00 a.m. in SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church, 50 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa. Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
