Patricia “Patty” Ann Miller, Fairchance, Pa.

     Patricia “Patty” Ann Miller, 88 of Fairchance, Pennsylvania passed on to be with the Lord on November 22, 2019.

     She was born September 23, 1931 in Smithfield, Pa. to the late Grant and Martha Hague Miller.

     Patty worked as a court stenographer and legal professional for 44 years.

     She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Fairchance for over 75 years and an engaged member of the Philathea Sunday School Class.

     Patty enjoyed immensely the company of family and friends and had a deep love for her country and patriotic values.  She had a unique knack for telling funny stories, a terrific sense of humor, a joyful laugh and a wonderful zest for life. She loved people and was greatly loved in return by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and dearly remembered.

     She was preceded in death by her parents; her two brothers, Thomas R. Miller and Bryan W. Miller; her sister, Norma Jean Moser; brother-in-law, Dr. Jesse “Bud” Moser; sister-in-law, Sally Miller and nephew, Phillip Amber.

     Surviving are her three nieces, Susan Amber, Nancy (Elliott) Metro and Sandra (Robert) Salvi; her three nephews, David (Lana) Miller, Wayne (Carol) Moser and Scott (Paula) Moser.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday in the funeral home beginning at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Peter Malik officiating.

     Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church, 17 North Morgantown Street, Fairchance, Pa. 15436.
