Peggy Sue (Swaney) Venick

Peggy Sue Swaney Venick, Uniontown, Pa.

     Peggy Sue Swaney Venick 50 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away  on February 10, 2026 at WVU Uniontown Hospital surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with ALS.

     She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Dolores and Orren Swaney Sr. and her daughter, Sabrina Clark.

     Surviving are her children, Joshua Clark and Christine Clark; five grandchildren whom she loved dearly; two brothers and five sisters, Orren T. Swaney Jr. and family, Bonnie Volek and family, Mary Swaney and family, Karen Swaney and family, Trelea Huseman and family, Michelle Hendrix, and Michael Swaney and family and twenty-two nieces and nephews.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, February 16, 2026 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Jason Lamer officiating.

     Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
