Peter grew up on Woodlawn Ave near the Uniontown Hospital and graduated from Uniontown High School in 1973 and from Penn State Fayette in 1977. On August 20th, 1980 Pete founded Penn Highlands Teens For Christ, a ministry that helps teenagers start Bible Clubs in public schools which involved thousands of teenagers over the last 44 years. Pete began pastoring the Oak Grove and Kentuck Union Churches in December of 1980 and also pastored at Lamberton Union Church. In order to continue the mission of his life, the family encourages donations, in lieu of flowers, to the ministry Pete founded which will continue, Teens For Christ, PO Box 622, Uniontown, PA 15401.
