Richard “Woody” Wilson, Uniontown, Pa.

     Richard “Woody” Wilson, 64 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away on Monday evening, July 29, 2024 in WVU Uniontown Hospital after a short battle with cancer.

     He was born March 25, 1960 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Drusilla and Harold W. Wilson II; his sister Holly; brother Hal and nephew Jeremy.

     Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Kerry Swaney Wilson; son, Justin Wilson; his two loving dogs, Tito and Bernie and other loving family members and friends.

     Woody was an avid hunter and belonged to Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Ron Hudson officiating.

     Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa.
