Robert Keith Clark Sr.

     Robert Keith Clark Sr., age 80, of Lemont Furnace, Pa. passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025.

     He is survived by his devoted wife of 53 years, Ada Clark, and his son, Robert Clark Jr., along with Robert Jr.’s girlfriend, Miranda Cramer. Robert was a proud grandfather to Robert Clark III (and his girlfriend Destiny), Zoie Clark, Bailey Clark, Jamie Faulkner (and her boyfriend Krill), and Jessica Meyer (and her husband Cody). He was also blessed with a cherished great-grandchild, Lorelei Clark. Robert is also survived by his brother, William Clark Jr. and many nieces and nephews.

     A graduate of Laurel Highlands High School, Robert honorably served his country as an Army paratrooper during the Vietnam War. After his military service, he worked for U.S. Steel, then at Quarrick’s Auction and Coastal Lumber, and ultimately retired as a corrections officer at the Fayette County Prison.

     Known as a jack of all trades, Robert loved hunting and classic cars, and he cherished his family above all else.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, William Clark and Mildred Rohm Clark; his son, John Allen Clark; and his sister, Faye Shelkey.

     A funeral viewing will be held at Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, PA, on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. A dinner and gathering of remembrance will follow at AMVETS Post 103, Hopwood, PA. 

      Military Rites will be accorded by AMVETS Post 103 Honor Guard at 4:00 p.m.

     A Short Time of Remembrance will be held at 5:30 p.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for Ada Clark in memory of her beloved husband.

     The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital MICU for their compassionate care.
