Robert J. Sofcheck, York Run, Pa.

     Robert J. Sofcheck, 71 of York Run, Pa. passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Uniontown Hospital.

     He was born November 1, 1949 in York Run, Pa.

     He was predeceased by his parents, John Matthew Sofcheck and Sophie (Tysko) Sofcheck and his brother-in-law, Jim Hart.

     Surviving are his siblings, John Sofcheck, Dolores Switch and her husband Gerald Switch and Patricia Hart; many nieces and nephews; his best friend Kimmie and his loving dog Jasper.

     He was formerly employed for many years at the former Houze Glass Company in Point Marion, Pa.

     His home church is SS. Cyril and Methodius R.C. Church in Fairchance, Pa.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Thursday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, October 15, 2021 from 10 to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Home Blessing Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Douglas E. Dorula officiating.

     Interment will follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
