Robert Samuel Turner, Coolspring, Pa.

     Robert Samuel Turner, of Coolspring, Pa. passed away on December 16, 2019 at home with his loving family by his side.

     He was born January 6, 1965 in Uniontown, Pa., the precious son of Samuel “Pete” Turner and Ethel (Yauger) Custer.

     He is survived by his wife Melissa; his children, Bobbi J., Sam and Abby; his loving mother, Ethel Custer; his brother Mark; sister Gina; three lifelong friends, Frank Faust, Larry Smalley and Mike Williams; mother-in-law Alice and Zoey his dog.

     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father John Custer; his grandparents Charles and Ethel Yauger and his adopted grandparents, Ralph and Jean Smalley.

     Bobby was a master carpenter with the God given talent he was blessed with. Bobby was well known for giving a helping hand to the less fortunate in many ways as he was able.

     Bobby was a member of the former Coolspring United Methodist Church.

      The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 9 to 10 a.m. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Mike Lyons officiating.
