Robert Edward Yauch, Uniontown, Pa.

     Robert Edward Yauch, 79 of Uniontown, Pa. passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on Friday, October 27, 2023.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Helen Hogler Yauch; two brothers, Ray Yauch and Edward Yauch and his sister, Dorothy Yauch.

     Surviving are his wife GiGi; daughter, Kathleen Blome and husband John; granddaughter Rebecca; granddaughter Abigail; step daughter, Melissa Marbella and husband Anthony; beloved grandchildren, Anthony and Gemma and brother, Jeffrey Starr and wife Beverly.

     Robert was a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.

     He was a 29 year veteran officer of the City of Pittsburgh Police Department and member of Fraternal Order of Police Lodge # 1.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

     Interment at a later date in The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville, Pa.
