Sam Smitley

     Sam Smitley 73 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

     He was born July 7, 1951 in Uniontown, Pa.

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Thomas and Ethel Smitley and brothers, Donald Smitley and Stanley Smitley.

     Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Darleen; son, Mike and his wife Alicia; brothers, Tom Smitley and Robert Smitley; sister, Kathy Clark and other family members.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor Vince Cable officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
