Sandra L. (Dills) Sutton

Sandra L. Sutton, Georges Township, Pa.

     Sandra L. Sutton, 83 of Georges Township, Pa. passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 9, 2023.

     She was born June 3, 1940 at Lake Lynn, Pa.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Willis Richard Dills and Mary Mabel Blaney Dills; brothers, Robert Dills and Roger Dills; sister, Marguerit Porter Newman.

     Surviving are her husband of 63 years, Philip Sutton Jr.; son, Philip Sutton III and Janie Oglevee and grandson, Brandon Sutton; daughter, Darla Pitts and granddaughter Amanda and husband Charles Lawrence and great granddaughter, Briella; sisters, Patricia Dills Runner and Cheryl Dills Nale; sisters-in-law, Joyce Dills and Diane Sutton Clinard; very close niece, Layna and Michael Lambert as well as many more nieces, nephews and loved ones.

     Sandra was employed for many years at WVU Hospital.

     She loved gardening, lawn care and crossword puzzles.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Bryan Kelley officiating.

     Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Fairchance, Pa.
