Sharron Virginia (Grubb) Philpott

Sharron Virginia Philpott, Smithfield, Pa.

     Sharron Virginia (Grubb) Philpott, 73 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 with her loving family by her side as she went to be with her loving Heavenly Father.

     She was born October 17, 1945 in Kingwood, W.Va.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, James and Ova (Jones) Grubb; paternal grandparents, William Blake and Mae McGinnis; daughter, Laura Larissa Philpott and her brother, John Edward Buchanan.

     Sharron was a loving wife, sister, friend and neighbor. Surviving are her loving husband of 57 years, Reverend Frank M. Philpott; sisters and brothers, Linda Thomas, Bruceton Mills, W.Va., Pamela Carlson, Cumming, Georgia, Kenneth Buchanan, Oak Hill, W.Va. and Darrell Buchanan, Dilliner, Pa.; several nieces and nephews; very close uncle and aunt, Reverend Charles and Nelda Harless, Winchester, Va. and her loving pets that she loved and cared for daily.

     She was a member of the Smithfield United Methodist Church.

     Sharron was formerly employed with the Monongalia County Health Department.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, March 18, 2019 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Jay Polowsky officiating.

     Interment will follow in Beverly Hills Memorial Gardens, Morgantown, W.Va.
