Shirley (Jenkins) Cummings

Shirley Cummings, Lamberton, Pa.

     Shirley Cummings, 77 of Lamberton, Pa. went to be with the Lord with her family by her side on Wednesday, January 31, 2024.

     She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Jesse; mother and father, Aritta and Arlen Jenkins; son, Jesse; great granddaughter, Sadie and sister, Need Jenkins.

     Left to cherish are her kids, Ronald and Eileen Cummings, Tammy Handlin and Tom and Debbie Coldren; eleven grandkids; fifteen great grandkids; two brothers, Bob Jenkins and Rex Jenkins and many nieces and nephews.

     She loved bird watching, especially red cardinals.

     Shirley was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 9:00 until 10:00 a.m. the hour of service with Pastor James Horne officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
