Shirley Lea (Emme) Jones, Uniontown, Pa.

     Shirley Lea (Emme) Jones 90 of Uniontown passed away January 20th, 2026 at Uniontown Health and Rehab.

     She was born September 24, 1935 in Dupont Village, Fayette County, Pa.

     Shirley was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

     She is survived by Stephanie (Chuck) McCormick and Tarita Burle of Uniontown, Irene (John) Roskovensky and Leo Jones Jr. of Tampa, Florida; daughter-in-law, Debbie Jones of Defuniak Springs, Florida; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

     Preceding her in death were her husband, Leo Jones Sr.; son, Edgar Jones; grandson, Kyle Burle and her parents, Edgar and Irene Emme.

     Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 23rd, 2026 in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Michael Peton officiating. Entombment will be private at LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
