Stanley Dewane Miller Jr. “Buckie”, Haydentown, Pa.
Stanley Dewane Miller Jr. “Buckie” 72 of Haydentown, Pa. passed away in his home on June 6, 2025.
He was born July 27, 1952 to Stanley D. Miller and Ruth Handschumaker Miller.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Stanley and Ruth; brothers-in-law, Frank Jacobs and Ed Whoolery and several nieces and nephews.
He leaves behind his siblings, Karen Jacobs, Ethel Cramer (Roy), Judy Whoolery, Rita Jeffries (Sam), Charles Miller (Melinda), William Miller (Sandy) and Denise Johnson (Sam); three children, Stanley Miller III (Lisa), Jennifer Smith (Darwin) and Brian Miller (Renee) all of Haydentown; four grandchildren, Stanley Miller IV, Hunter Miller, Rebecca Miller and Remington Miller and his faithful loving dog Lucky.
Stanley was a 1970 graduate of Fairchance-Georges High School, after graduation he proudly joined the U.S. Air Force serving his country until 1977. After returning home, Buckie worked as a boss at Duquesne Light and the Emerald coal mine until retiring in 2013. He was a member of the Barton Hollow Hunting Club.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
