Sylvia Lonsinger, LaFayette, Indiana

     Sylvia Cunningham Lonsinger, 93 of LaFayette, Indiana, previously of Fairchance, Pa. passed away on April 28, 2025.

     She was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, Wilbur “Candy Man” Lonsinger; her mother and father, Bessie Arnold Cunningham and Frank Cunningham and brother, Francis Cunningham.

    Surviving are her son, David (Judy) Lonsinger; daughter, Debbie (Larry) Strauch; grandchildren, Mark (Dawn), Stephanie (Jeremy) and Jonathan (Krista); great-grandchildren, Tyler, Kaylee (Caleb), Caden, Logan and Ryan; her brother, James (Patty) Cunningham; brother-in-law, Michael (Linda) Lonsinger; sister-in-law, Sherry Cunningham; sister-in-law, Jean Lonsinger and several nieces and nephews.

     She was the owner and operator of Sylvia’s Craft Shoppe in Fairchance for many years.

     Private family interment was held on Friday, May 2, 2025 in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa. under the direction of the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home.
