Terry Lee (Salipek) Myers

Terry Lee Myers, 69, of Smithfield, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 7, 1956, in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, Terry was the daughter of the late Mary Salipek and John “Spotty” Salipek. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald “Rick” Myers.

Left to cherish Terry’s memory are her mother-in-law, Ruth Myers; her siblings, Cheryl Hornick, Barbara Talotta, and John Hornick; her three sons, Brian Myers and his wife, Regina, Michael Myers and his late wife, Marilyn, and Chad Myers; and her beloved grandchildren, Jessica Myers and her fiancé, Bret Leskinen, along with Ryker and Damon Myers.

Throughout her life, Terry worked in a variety of roles before retiring. Alongside her late husband, she owned and operated Klondike Concrete and Block Plant. She also spent many years working at Harry’s Custom Meats and at several local businesses, including but not limited to Cloverdale Nursing Home and Dolfi’s restaurant in Masontown, PA. 

Above all else, Terry took great pride in being a homemaker. She found joy in baking, cooking, and hosting family holiday gatherings. She loved tending to her flower gardens and spending time outdoors in the sunshine. Some of her happiest moments were spent with family—watching movies, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and enjoying girls’ day shopping trips.

Terry was the heart of her family. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all whose lives she enriched.

Family and friends will be received at the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Friday, June 26, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
