     Thomas Greenwood Jr., 87 of Smithfield, Pa. passed away at home with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.

     He was born September 25, 1938 in Republic, Pa..

     Preceding him in death were his parents, Mary (Medved) and Thomas Greenwood Sr. and his siblings, Mary Salanick, Nellie Hopwood and Kathy Hiles-Furlong.

     Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Ethel; son, Thomas W. Greenwood and his wife Terri; grandchildren, Matthew Greenwood and Tyler Greenwood and his wife Kelcey; great grandchildren, Chase, Maci and Olivia; siblings, Joan Winkelvoss and her husband Fuzzy, Dorothy Lewis, Charlotte Barton and George Greenwood and his wife Cathy, and many nieces, nephews and loving in-laws.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Saturday, April 4, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Carl Desmartin officiating.
