Wilma Mae Moore

Wilma Mae Moore, Fairchance, Pa.

     Wilma Mae Moore, 87 of Fairchance, Pa. passed away at home with loving family by her side on January 16, 2025.

     She was born June 1, 1937 in Baxter, W.Va.

     Preceding her in death were her parents, Daniel Everett and Wilma Mae Lane Moore; sisters and brothers; close sister, Myrtle Brownfield; nephew, Robert C. Brownfield Jr., and Robert C. Brownfield Sr.

     Surviving are her three children, Merchant Brownfield, Ike Brownfield and Barbara Burnsworth; 13 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sister, Berlina Brangard and loving caregiver, Vanessa Huey.

     Wilma was very hard working on the family farm and a loving Mom.

     She was a member of First Baptist Church and the Choir in Fairchance.

     The family will receive friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Tuesday, January 21, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. The Funeral Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. with Carl Desmartin officiating.

     Interment will follow in Fairchance Cemetery.
