Darlyn Lowene “Patty” Workman Sapic, Fairchance, Pa.

     Darlyn Lowene “Patty” Workman Sapic, 86 went to Heaven on January 12, 2018 while in the Uniontown Hospital.

     She was born August 20, 1931 in Markleysburg, Pa. the daughter of James Phillip and Nancy C. “Edna” Collins Workman.

     Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Mike Sapic in 1998 and all of her sisters and brothers, Margaret Gruseck and Doris Bronder and Harold, Francis, Lee and Lowell Workman.

     Surviving are her children, Michele and Gregg Bianchini, Bryans Road, Maryland, John Sapic, Huntington, W.Va., George and Brenda Sapic, Fairchance, Pa., Nancy Sapic King, Schererville, IN, Sandy and Jerry Martin, Uniontown, Pa., Mary Modar, Greensburg, Pa., James and Lorrie van der Sluys Veer Sapic, Chambersburg, Pa., Mark and Lori Sapic, Uniontown, Pa. and Kelly and Rich Walters, Fairchance, Pa.; 28 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren and 3 on the way.

     The family will greet friends and family in the Dean C. Whitmarsh Funeral Home, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa. on Sunday from 2 to 8 p.m. Additional visitation on Monday, January 15, 2018 in the Bible Baptist Church, # 1 Evergreen Terrace, Uniontown, Pa., where she had been a member for over 40 years, from 9 to 10:00 a.m. The funeral service begins at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Dale Redick and Mervin Showalter officiating.

     Interment in Asher Glade Cemetery, Friendsville, Maryland.

     The family would like to thank the staff of LaFayette Manor for their love and care that they gave to Mom.
